The invention provides a working-medium-free miniature hot electron emission device. The working-medium-free miniature hot electron emission device comprises a leading-out electrode, an electron emitter, a heating assembly, a shielding cover, an insulating connecting piece and a supporting cylinder, the leading-out electrode is arranged outside the supporting cylinder, and the electron emitter and the heating assembly are arranged in the supporting cylinder. The heating assembly is used for heating the electron emitter, so that the electron emitter emits hot electron current; the central axis of the electron emitter is arranged corresponding to the leading-out hole on the leading-out electrode, and a gap exists between the emitting end face of the electron emitter and the leading-out electrode; the two ends of the insulation connecting piece are connected with the outer side wall of the supporting cylinder and the inner side wall of the leading-out electrode respectively, the shielding cover is arranged on the peripheral side of the supporting cylinder, and a gap exists between the shielding cover and the supporting cylinder. The electron emission device serves as an electron source for a tethered propulsion system, does not need to consume a propellant working medium, can greatly improve the performance of the propulsion system, simplifies the system structure, reduces the weight, and completes space tasks such as orbital transfer or deorbital at the end of the service life of a spacecraft.

    本发明提供了一种无工质微型热电子发射装置,包括:引出极、电子发射体、加热组件、屏蔽罩、绝缘连接件、支撑筒;引出极设置在支撑筒外,电子发射体和加热组件设置在支撑筒内;加热组件用于加热电子发射体,使电子发射体发射热电子电流;电子发射体的中心轴对应引出极上的引出孔设置,电子发射体的发射端面与引出极之间存在间隙;绝缘连接件的两端分别连接支撑筒的外侧壁和引出极的内侧壁,屏蔽罩设置在支撑筒的周侧,屏蔽罩与支撑筒之间存在间隙。本发明的电子发射装置,作为用于绳系推进系统的电子源,无需消耗推进剂工质、可大幅度提升推进系统的性能,简化系统结构,减轻重量,完成航天器的轨道转移或寿命末期离轨等空间任务。
