A laminated structure includes a translucent semi-reflective film configured to transmit light in a transmissive polarization direction and reflect light in a reflective polarization direction, at least one guest-host (GH) liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules and dichroic dye molecules, and controllable to operate in at least a vertical state and a planar state. The laminated structure is configured to transmit linearly polarized light. In the first reflective mode, the stacked structure is configured to reflect light corresponding to the first reflectance. In the second reflective mode, the stacked structure is configured to reflect light corresponding to a second reflectance less than the first reflectance.
