An electric vehicle energy management method and system includes obtaining grid data from a grid interface, the grid data indicating an energy purchase price, an energy resale price, and a plurality of charging locations. Data is obtained from a vehicle management controller, the data including vehicle data indicative of task information, an energy requirement associated with the task, and an estimated charging time based on the energy requirement and an amount of stored energy stored by the electric vehicle. Based on the grid data and the vehicle data, a policy for charging and energy reselling is generated, the policy including selecting at least one of the plurality of charging locations, and selecting at least one charging time for charging the electric vehicle at the selected charging location.
