The invention provides a vehicle battery protection method. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the current residual electric quantity and the current voltage of a power battery; and based on the current residual electric quantity and the current voltage, determining whether the power battery continuously meets an overcharge protection condition within a preset duration. And in response to the situation that the power battery continuously meets the overcharge protection condition within the preset duration, it is indicated that the power battery is likely to be overcharged currently, and the power generation torque output by a motor is controlled to be zero. When the power battery is charged, the power generation torque output by the motor is inevitably required to be not zero, and the power generation torque of the motor is set to be zero, so that passive charging of the power battery can be avoided under any working condition, the overcharge phenomenon of the power battery is avoided, and the service life of the power battery is prolonged.

    本申请提供一种车辆电池的保护方法,所述方法包括:获取动力电池的当前剩余电量和当前电压。基于所述当前剩余电量和所述当前电压,确定所述动力电池在预设时长内是否持续满足过充保护条件。响应于所述动力电池在所述预设时长内持续满足所述过充保护条件,表示动力电池当前存在过充的可能,则控制电机输出的发电扭矩为零。由于动力电池充电时,必然需要电机输出的发电扭矩不为零,本申请中将电机的发电扭矩置为零值,可以确保在任何工况下均可以避免动力电池的被动充电,进而避免动力电池出现过充现象,延长动力电池的使用寿命。
