The invention discloses an expressway automatic driving special lane vehicle safety following keeping method based on a roadside, which comprises the steps of detecting and calculating position information and real-time driving state information of automatic driving vehicles in a current motorcade based on a roadside intelligent unit, and determining a safety distance between the automatic driving vehicles in the motorcade. The safety level of the safety distance between the automatic driving vehicles in the following vehicle team is divided and determined, and when the safety distance between the following vehicles is in the low-level risk level, the roadside intelligent unit controls the target automatic driving vehicle; when the safety distance between the following vehicles is in a middle-level or high-level danger level, the road side intelligent unit controls the front vehicle and the rear vehicle; and when the distance between the autonomous vehicles is at the safety level, maintaining the current driving state of the motorcade. According to the method, on the expressway automatic driving special lane, the safety and stability of automatic driving vehicle following driving are improved, and the probability of emergencies during automatic driving vehicle following is reduced.

    本发明公开了一种基于路侧的高速公路自动驾驶专用道车辆安全跟驰保持方法,包括基于路侧智能单元检测并计算当前车队中自动驾驶车辆的位置信息与实时行驶状态信息,确定车队中自动驾驶车辆之间的安全间距。划分并确定跟驰车队中自动驾驶车辆间安全间距的安全等级,当跟驰车辆间安全间距处于低级风险等级,路侧智能单元对目标自动驾驶车辆进行控制;当跟驰车辆间安全间距处于中级或高级危险等级时,路侧智能单元对前车以及后车进行控制;当自动驾驶车辆间距处于安全等级时,维持当前车队行驶状态。该方法在高速公路自动驾驶专用道上,提高自动驾驶车辆跟驰驾驶的安全性和稳定性,降低自动驾驶车辆跟驰时突发事件概率。
