The invention relates to geospatial clustering of regions for autonomous systems and applications using neural networks. In various examples, a cluster of cells sharing similarity is determined using a cell model that divides a geographic area into one or more cells. Sensor data is provided to one or more machine learning models that are trained for classifying the sensor data into one or more cells of the cell model. Based on classifying sensor data into cells of a cell model, similarities between pairs of cells of the cell model may be determined and used to form clusters of sufficiently similar cells in order to assist in managing training data for training a machine learning model in order to assist in autonomous or semi-autonomous machines in the surrounding environment.
