According to the mine hoist protection device, elastic potential energy formed after the main spiral spring is compressed is used for controlling the relative friction force between the motor rotor and the driven shaft in the linkage process, and once the rotation torque resistance between the motor and a steel wire winding wheel of the hoist is larger than the maximum static friction force formed by the elastic strength of the main spiral spring, the motor rotor is driven to rotate; when the hoisting wheel is released, the hoisting wheel is in a static state, the driving motor can operate normally, so that the driving motor in the hoister is effectively protected, damage events caused by overload of motor torque are prevented, in addition, certain pressure influence is generated on release of the hoisting wheel by utilizing gas pressure, and due to the fact that gas has high buffering capacity, the hoisting wheel is prevented from being damaged. Therefore, the pressure stability and the operation stability of parts are ensured.
