The invention discloses a tandem type hybrid power system which comprises an engine, a generator, a brake resistor, a high-voltage power distribution system, a driving motor and a power battery, the high-voltage power distribution system is electrically connected with the generator, the brake resistor, the driving motor and the power battery, and the power battery is arranged to be used for absorbing braking energy in a vehicle braking state. The brake resistor is arranged to be used for consuming brake energy in a brake state. According to the tandem type hybrid power system, energy generated by braking of the driving motor is preferentially absorbed through the power battery, then part of braking energy of a vehicle is consumed through mechanical rotation of the engine, the speed of consumption of the braking energy is controlled by regulating and controlling the throttle valve of the engine, and an added braking resistor is replaced; braking energy balance can be achieved, the vehicle runs stably, and the weight/space of the whole vehicle and the manufacturing cost of the whole vehicle are reduced. The invention further discloses a control method of the tandem type hybrid power system.

    本发明公开了一种串联式混合动力系统,包括发动机、发电机、制动电阻、高压配电系统、驱动电机和动力电池,高压配电系统与发电机、制动电阻、驱动电机和动力电池电连接,所述动力电池设置成用于吸收车辆制动状态下的制动能量,所述制动电阻设置成用于消耗制动状态下的制动能量。本发明的串联式混合动力系统,优先通过动力电池吸收驱动电机制动产生的能量,再利用发动机机械转动消耗车辆部分制动能量,利用调控发动机节气门控制制动能量消耗的快慢,取代增加的制动电阻,可以实现制动能量平衡、车辆平稳运行、整车重量/空间和整车制造成本的降低。本发明还公开了一种串联式混合动力系统的控制方法。
