The present invention provides a display control device, a display control method, and a storage medium capable of promoting a user to utilize energy better to the environment, and further contributes to energy efficiency. A display control device according to an embodiment includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information including source information of supplied power when a battery mounted in a vehicle is charged; a derivation unit that derives, on the basis of the source information acquired by the acquisition unit, a degree of environmental load indicating a degree of influence of an environmental load on the power charged into the battery; and a display control unit that displays, on a display unit, an image in which the degree of environmental load derived by the derivation unit is associated with the details of the remaining amount of the battery.

    本发明提供能够催促用户进行对环境更良好的能量的利用的显示控制装置、显示控制方法及存储介质,进而有助于能量的效率化。实施方式的显示控制装置具备:取得部,其在向搭载于车辆的电池进行充电时取得包含被供给的电力的来源信息在内的信息;导出部,其基于由所述取得部取得的来源信息来导出环境负荷程度,该环境负荷程度表示充入到所述电池中的电力的环境负荷的影响程度;以及显示控制部,其使由所述导出部导出的所述环境负荷程度与所述电池的余量的细目建立了对应关系的图像显示于显示部。
