Ship type parameters, hydrogen storage parameters and motion characterization parameters of a hydrogen-powered ship are used as boundary parameters, and hydrogen reserves, collision positions and collision opening shapes of the hydrogen-powered ship are combined; and the leakage probability of the hydrogen-powered ship after collision is evaluated, a target endangered ignition safety threshold value is obtained through evaluation on the basis, and safety evaluation is further conducted on the hydrogen-powered ship in combination with a selected preset threshold value. Therefore, by implementing the method, directional and quantitative safety evaluation of the hydrogen-powered ship is realized.
