The invention discloses a control method, device and equipment for abnormal starting of a range extender and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of new energy electric vehicles. The method comprises the following steps: in response to detection of abnormal starting of a range extender, a vehicle control unit acquires state information of a current vehicle; the whole vehicle control unit judges the current working condition of the current vehicle according to the state information, wherein the working condition comprises one of abnormal range extender, no oil in the current vehicle oil tank and oil in the current vehicle oil tank but cannot suck oil; and the whole vehicle control unit executes a corresponding control instruction according to the current working condition. The method can adapt to more working condition scenes, the current state of the vehicle can be recognized more accurately, and the reliability of the range extender system is improved.
