The invention discloses a charging and discharging method after capacity expansion of an optical storage and charging system and a control terminal, and the method comprises the steps: collecting the transmission power of each module of the optical storage and charging system, coordinating the charging and discharging processes of an external power grid, a battery system and a photovoltaic system, and precisely controlling each group of battery systems after capacity expansion to charge and discharge in turn. A complete set of power distribution equipment does not need to be additionally configured for the expanded battery system, so that the economic cost is reduced; meanwhile, the capacity of the battery system is increased, so that the pressure of the power grid side is relieved during power utilization, and the power utilization requirement is met.
