The invention discloses a communication satellite which comprises a bearing cylinder, a service module upper-layer plate, a service module lower-layer plate and a propelling system. The force bearing cylinder is provided with a containing cavity, the length of the force bearing cylinder is L1, and L1 is larger than or equal to 3.7 m and smaller than or equal to 5 m. The bearing cylinder is sleeved with the service module upper-layer plate and the service module lower-layer plate, the service module lower-layer plate and the service module upper-layer plate are sequentially arranged at intervals in the first direction to form the service module, and the first direction is the length extension direction of the bearing cylinder. The propelling system comprises a first energy supply cabin located in the containing cavity and at least two first helium cabins located outside the containing cavity, and the first helium cabins are located on the upper side of the upper layer plate of the service cabin, or the propelling system comprises a second energy supply cabin located in the containing cavity, and at least two second helium cabins and at least two xenon cabins which are located outside the containing cavity; the second helium cabin and the xenon cabin are located on the upper side of the upper layer plate of the service cabin and arranged in the first direction. The bearing cylinder is lengthened, the inner space and the outer space of the bearing cylinder are increased, and the arrangement space of a propelling system is increased.

    本发明公开了一种通信卫星,包括承力筒、服务舱上层板、服务舱下层板及推进系统。承力筒具有容纳腔,承力筒长度为L1,3.7m≤L1≤5m。服务舱上、下层板套设于承力筒,服务舱下、上层板沿第一方向依次间隔设置以形成服务舱,第一方向为承力筒长度延伸方向。推进系统包括位于容纳腔的第一能源供给舱和位于容纳腔外的至少两个第一氦气舱,第一氦气舱位于服务舱上层板上侧,或者,推进系统包括位于容纳腔的第二能源供给舱和位于容纳腔外的至少两个第二氦气舱及至少两个氙气舱,第二氦气舱、氙气舱位于服务舱上层板上侧,第二氦气舱、氙气舱在第一方向上布置。通过延长承力筒,增加承力筒内、外空间,有助于提高推进系统布置空间。
