The present invention addresses the problem of providing a traffic safety assistance system that improves traffic safety, convenience, and smoothness of a moving body via risk notification or attention notification. In order to solve the problem, a risk notification setting unit acquires rule adherence related to use of a direction indicator when a moving body of a preceding vehicle (truck 95) of an assistance object (motorcycle 96) identified as being provided with a notification device for performing risk notification turns left and right in the past, and sets an operation mode in which the notification device performs risk notification. When the distance between the preceding vehicle and a left-turn-able point (92) in front of the preceding vehicle is smaller than a distance threshold value and a direction indicator of the preceding vehicle is not operated, the risk notification setting unit starts risk notification at a time point specified according to the predicted collision time between the assistance object and the preceding vehicle. At the same time, the notification strength at the start of the risk notification or the time point at which the notification strength of the risk notification is to be improved is changed in accordance with the rule adherence.

    本发明要解决的问题是提供一种交通安全辅助系统,其经由风险通知或者注意通知来提高移动体的交通安全性、便利性及顺畅性。为了解决上述问题,风险通知设定单元获取与被识别为具备进行风险通知的通知装置的辅助对象(摩托车96)的前行车(卡车95)的移动体在过去左右转时的方向指示器的使用相关的规则遵守度,并设定由通知装置进行风险通知的操作方式。风险通知设定单元在前行车与该前行车的前方的可左转地点(92)之间的距离小于距离阈值而且前行车的方向指示器未操作的情况,在根据辅助对象与前行车之间的碰撞预测时间规定的时点开始风险通知,同时根据规则遵守度来改变在风险通知开始时的通知强度或者要提高风险通知的通知强度的时点。
