The invention discloses an electromagnetic push shot device with a self-unlocking reset function and a using method thereof. The electromagnetic push shot device comprises a shell, and a cavity is formed in the shell and provided with a first cambered surface groove; the ejector connecting rod is arranged at the axis position of the shell and is provided with a second cambered surface groove; the electric driver is arranged at one end of the ejector connecting rod; the coil is arranged at the joint of the electric driver and the ejector connecting rod in a sleeving manner; the sliding block is arranged on the ejector connecting rod in a clearance fit and sleeving manner, is arranged close to the coil and is provided with a third cambered surface groove; one end of the spring is connected with the end face of the shell, the other end of the spring is connected with the sliding block, and the spring is arranged at the end away from the electric driver; and the limiting steel ball is positioned between the sliding block and the ejector connecting rod. The device has the advantages that self-unlocking and push shot operation can be completed through electromagnetic energy, quick response release separation can be conducted on a target load, separation kinetic energy is adjustable and controllable, and energy is renewable.
