The elevator compensation chain tensioning structure comprises a support and an annular wheel set, one end of the support is detachably connected with a main guide rail, the position of the support can be adjusted in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction, reinforcing ribs are arranged on the support, the annular wheel set is connected with the other end of the support, and the annular wheel set is connected with the main guide rail. The compensation chain penetrates through the annular wheel set and abuts against the annular wheel set, and the situation that the swing amplitude of the compensation chain is too large is effectively prevented.
