A bicycle seatpost system includes an electric actuator, a remote controller, and a seatpost controller. The electric actuator is used to change the state of the bicycle seatpost assembly between a locked state in which the total length of the bicycle seatpost assembly is immutable and an adjustable state in which the total length of the bicycle seatpost assembly is variable. The remote controller is configured to transmit a first control signal and a second control signal different from the first control signal. The seatpost controller is configured to control the electric actuator based on one of the first control signal and the second control signal to change a state of the bicycle seatpost assembly to an adjustable state.
