The invention discloses a semi-active suspension system driving mode control system and method, and relates to the field of power assembly suspension, the semi-active suspension system driving mode control system comprises a driving mode control unit DMS, an engine management system EMS, a semi-active suspension system whole vehicle control DMS controller, a semi-active suspension and a semi-active suspension solenoid valve, the method comprises the following steps: defining a whole vehicle full working condition matching semi-active suspension through an existing signal of a whole vehicle, and carrying out working condition judgment through a power-on IGON signal, a starting signal, a flameout signal, a vehicle speed and a starting speed signal; the working conditions comprise cold engine idling, hot engine idling, starting, flameout, small accelerator starting, low-speed threshold crossing and acceleration and deceleration working conditions; according to different working conditions, it is determined that the semi-active suspension should be in a large-rigidity or small-rigidity state, and therefore the semi-active suspension can fully achieve NVH performance full-working-condition control.
