The invention relates to a wheel-side electric driving system capable of automatically switching modes and a control method. An end cover is fixedly connected with a shell, and a brake mechanism is installed on the end cover; the brake mechanism, the overrun clutch and the transmission mechanism are sequentially connected in the axial direction of the sun gear, the motor mechanism is connected with the overrun clutch, and the brake mechanism is connected with the end cover. The transmission mechanism is connected with the sun wheel and the auxiliary driving wheel rim; when the rotating speed provided by the motor mechanism is larger than the rotating speed of the inner ring of the overrun clutch, the overrun clutch transmits power, and the power is transmitted to the rim of the auxiliary driving wheel through the sun gear and the transmission mechanism. When the rotating speed of the inner ring of the overrun clutch is larger than that provided by the motor mechanism, the overrun clutch does not transmit power. Compared with the prior art, a flexible power scheme can be provided for the whole vehicle, and the auxiliary driving system switches different modes under different working condition requirements, is flexibly matched with the main driving system and is dynamically adjusted, so that the dynamic property, the economical efficiency and the reliability of the vehicle are improved.

    本发明涉及一种可自动切换模式的轮边电驱动系统及控制方法,端盖与壳体固连,制动机构安装在端盖上;太阳轮的轴向方向上依次连接制动机构、超越离合器和传动机构,电机机构与超越离合器相连,制动机构连接端盖;传动机构连接太阳轮和辅驱车轮轮辋;当电机机构提供的转速大于超越离合器内圈的转速时,超越离合器传递动力,通过太阳轮和传动机构将动力传递至辅驱车轮轮辋;当超越离合器内圈的转速大于电机机构提供的转速时,超越离合器不传递动力。与现有技术相比,本发明的加入可以为整车提供一种灵活的动力方案,在不同工况需求下辅驱系统切换不同模式,与主驱系统灵活适配、动态调节,以提高车辆的动力性、经济性和可靠性。
