The command unit is adapted to obtain input variables including respective fleet tasks and their priority states. And obtaining route data of the corresponding motorcade task. The command unit is adapted to obtain an objective function defined by a plurality of influencing factors having respective weights. The command unit is adapted to obtain optimal charging schedules for the electric vehicles based in part on the objective function, the input variables and the route data, respectively, and to match the respective fleet tasks with the electric vehicles and the respective fleet drivers. The influencing factors may include energy cost optimization, timeliness of task completion, and minimum mileage anxiety. In some embodiments, the respective weights of the influencing factors are specified by a fleet manager.
