Provided are a temporary sleep point selection method and a temporary sleep point selection system with which it is possible to select a temporary sleep point with which it is possible to suppress the amount of power consumption and deterioration of a battery for vehicle travel. A temporary sleep point selection method for selecting a temporary sleep point in a travel route in an electric vehicle (11) provided with a battery (12) for vehicle travel and an air conditioner (14), the method comprising: a step for selecting a plurality of temporary sleep points located midway along the travel route; a step for acquiring external air temperature data for each selected temporary sleep point; a step for calculating, on the basis of the outside air temperature data, the amount of power consumed by the battery when the air-conditioning device is operated for a predetermined time at each temporary sleep point; a step for calculating the degree of deterioration of the battery at each temporary sleep point on the basis of the outside air temperature data; and a step for selecting, from each temporary sleep point, a temporary sleep point at which the amount of power consumed by the battery and/or the degree of deterioration are/is low on the basis of the calculated amount of power consumed and the degree of deterioration.

    本发明提供可以选出能够抑制车辆行驶用的电池的消耗电力量和劣化量的临时睡觉点的临时睡觉点选出方法及临时睡觉点选出系统。临时睡觉点选出方法在具备车辆行驶用的电池(12)和空调装置(14)的电动车辆(11)中选出行驶路线中的临时睡觉点,其包括:选定位于行驶路线的中途的多个临时睡觉点的工序;获取所选定的各临时睡觉点的外部气温数据的工序;基于外部气温数据计算在各临时睡觉点处使空调装置工作预定时间时的电池的消耗电力量的工序;基于外部气温数据计算各临时睡觉点处的电池的劣化度的工序;以及基于计算出的消耗电力量和劣化度,从各临时睡觉点选出电池的消耗电力量及/或劣化度低的临时睡觉点的工序。
