The invention provides a fault detection method and device for an oxygen sensor and a vehicle. The method comprises the steps that an engine of the vehicle is controlled to work for a first preset duration according to a first air-fuel ratio, and after the first preset duration, the engine is controlled to work for a second preset duration; the first content of nitrogen oxide when tail gas exhausted by the engine flows through a catalyst of the vehicle and then reaches a nitrogen-oxygen sensor is obtained; the engine is controlled to work for a second preset duration according to a second air-fuel ratio, and after the second preset duration, the second content of nitrogen oxide is obtained when tail gas exhausted by the engine flows through the catalytic converter and then reaches the nitrogen-oxygen sensor; according to the first content and the second content, whether the oxygen sensor of the vehicle breaks down or not is determined. According to the method, whether the oxygen sensor in the aftertreatment system of the vehicle breaks down or not can be detected.
