The invention discloses a device and a method for setting a gear position of a riding vehicle and the riding vehicle. The gear setting device is connected to a control portion in a riding vehicle and has: a first gear provided to correspond to a maximum preset characteristic quantity of the riding vehicle, the characteristic quantity including a vehicle speed or a torque; the intermediate gear is set to be adjusted relative to the first gear in response to an external input to form a variable quantity, different variable quantities correspond to different characteristic quantities between the maximum preset characteristic quantity and a zero value, and the intermediate gear is set to a characteristic quantity corresponding to the current variable quantity, and the control part is used as the current maximum allowable characteristic quantity of the riding vehicle so as to allow the riding vehicle to be driven in a stepless speed regulation mode under the working condition that the maximum allowable characteristic quantity is not exceeded. The method has the advantages of high practicability, low application cost, simplicity and convenience in operation, humanization and the like.

    本发明公开了骑乘车辆的挡位设定装置和设定方法以及骑乘车辆。所述挡位设定装置与骑乘车辆中的控制部相连并且具有:第一挡位,其设置成对应于所述骑乘车辆的最大预设特征量,所述特征量包括车速或扭矩;中间挡位,其设置成响应于外部输入而相对于所述第一挡位调整以形成变化量,且不同的变化量与介于所述最大预设特征量与零值之间的不同特征量相对应,其中所述中间挡位被设定于当前变化量下时所对应的特征量,用于所述控制部作为所述骑乘车辆当前的最大允许特征量,以允许所述骑乘车辆能在不超过所述最大允许特征量的工况下以无级调速方式驾驶。本发明具有实用性强、应用成本低、操作简便且人性化等优点。
