The invention discloses a protection method and system for a bilateral power supply traction station power supply system and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of traction power supply, and the key points of the technical scheme are that the method comprises the steps: obtaining three phase voltages, three phase currents and three line voltages of a faulted three-phase power line when the three-phase power line breaks down; calculating three split-phase active power and/or three-phase total active power according to the phase voltage, the phase current and the three line voltages; and according to the phase voltage, the line voltage, the split-phase active power and/or the three-phase total active power, whether a first circuit breaker is disconnected is judged, so that the faulted three-phase power line is isolated from a traction transformer connected to the faulted three-phase power line. Through the prediction method, the inter-phase fault can be removed through the total active power and the low voltage, the single-phase grounding fault is isolated through the phase low voltage, it is guaranteed that the railway contact network is isolated from the traction transformer when the fault occurs, and the use safety is improved.
