The invention provides an intelligent vehicle searching method and system based on image screening, and relates to the technical field of image recognition. A target vehicle feature set input by a target vehicle searching user is received, and an in-library vehicle image set is obtained; and constructing a vehicle screening characteristic index set based on the target vehicle characteristic set, performing multi-round screening comparison on an in-library vehicle image set, obtaining a target vehicle tracking result, and generating an optimized vehicle searching route by combining the target vehicle tracking result with parking lot design information to perform vehicle searching navigation of a target vehicle searching user. The technical problem that in the prior art, when a driver forgets the parking position of a vehicle in a parking lot, vehicle searching depends on parking lot workers or the driver himself, and consequently the vehicle searching efficiency is low is solved. The technical effects of assisting the driving user to quickly position the vehicle needing to be searched in the vast parking lot, generating the safe walking route for going to the location of the vehicle and improving the vehicle searching convenience and safety of the driving user are achieved.
