The invention discloses a detection and early warning system for sudden lane change of a front vehicle, and the system comprises a foresight camera and a laser radar which are disposed on the vehicle, and the foresight camera is used for obtaining lane line information of two sides of a lane where the vehicle is located. The laser radar is used for acquiring relative lateral error information, relative course angle error information and relative acceleration error information of a vehicle on a side lane relative to the own vehicle; according to the relative transverse error information, the relative course angle error information and the relative transverse acceleration error information, it is determined that a vehicle on a side lane changes and runs towards the lane where the vehicle is located, and corresponding warning and reminding information is output. According to the method, the lane changing intention and the collision risk of the side lane vehicle are determined by judging the relative transverse error information, the relative course angle error information and the relative transverse acceleration error information, so that the risk caused by sudden lane changing of the side vehicle is avoided, the safety of a driver and passengers is protected to the greatest extent, and the driving safety is improved. And traffic accidents are reduced.

    本发明公开了一种前方车辆突然变道的检测预警系统,包括车辆上设置的前视摄像头和激光雷达,所述前视摄像头用于获取自车所在车道的两侧车道线信息,所述激光雷达用于获取旁侧车道上的车辆相对于自车的相对横向误差信息、相对航向角误差信息、以及相对加速度误差信息;根据所述相对横向误差信息、相对航向角误差信息、以及相对横向加速度误差信息确定旁侧车道上的车辆向自车所在车道变道行驶,并输出相应的警示提醒信息。本发明所述通过对相对横向误差信息、相对航向角误差信息、以及相对横向加速度误差信息的判断确定旁侧车道车辆的变道意图和碰撞风险,从而规避由于旁侧车辆突然变道带来的风险,最大程度上保护司乘人员的安全,降低交通事故的发生。
