The invention discloses a configuration method of a hydrogen energy train. Comprising a set of electric traction motors, a fuel cell to provide electric power required for traction through reaction of hydrogen and air, a heat exchange system, an air system to provide air for the fuel cell, a cooling system to cool a fuel cell generator, and a set of cells for storing electric energy generated by the fuel cell generator, the storage tank vehicle is used for storing a large amount of liquid hydrogen. According to the method, clean and renewable hydrogen energy is combined with railway transportation, and a reliable and pollution-free transportation mode is provided. In particular, in order to cope with long-distance transportation, liquid hydrogen is adopted as transportation fuel in the method, and the cruising ability of the train is greatly improved. In order to further save energy consumption, the invention further introduces a heat exchange system, so that redundant cold energy rich in the liquid hydrogen and redundant heat generated by the fuel cell can be used in an air conditioning system of the locomotive.
