The invention relates to the technical field of automobiles, and discloses a road adhesion coefficient estimation method and device, a medium and electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring stress information of each wheel tire of a whole vehicle; overall transverse stress information and overall longitudinal stress information of the whole vehicle are obtained based on the stress information; calculating an estimated transverse acceleration of the current whole vehicle based on the overall transverse stress information; calculating an estimated longitudinal acceleration of the current whole vehicle based on the overall longitudinal stress information; the actual transverse acceleration of the whole vehicle and the actual longitudinal acceleration of the whole vehicle are obtained through an onboard gyroscope of the controller; and calculating the pavement adhesion coefficient of the current pavement based on the estimated transverse acceleration, the estimated longitudinal acceleration, the actual transverse acceleration and the actual longitudinal acceleration. The pavement adhesion coefficient of the current pavement is calculated through the estimated transverse acceleration, the estimated longitudinal acceleration, the actual transverse acceleration and the actual longitudinal acceleration, so that the estimated pavement adhesion coefficient can be more accurate.
