The method comprises the following steps: acquiring running data of a vehicle, wherein the running data comprises running time data of an engine, running time data of the vehicle and running mileage data of the vehicle; when it is detected that the comparison value of the running time data of the engine and the first maintenance planning time data is smaller than a first prompt judgment value, and/or when it is detected that the comparison value of the running time data of the vehicle and the second maintenance planning time data is smaller than a second prompt judgment value, the first maintenance planning time data and the second maintenance planning time data are sent to the engine; and under the condition that the comparison value of the vehicle driving mileage data and the first maintenance planning mileage data is smaller than a third prompt judgment value, generating to-be-maintained information according to a maintenance planning strategy, and sending the to-be-maintained information to a maintenance information page of the vehicle-mounted terminal. According to the method, the running time of the transmitter, the running time of the vehicle and the running mileage are combined, so that the maintenance condition of the vehicle is judged more accurately, and the requirements of the hybrid electric vehicle can be met.
