The deicing vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a static pressure transmission system, the static pressure transmission system comprises an engine, a hydraulic variable pump and a walking motor, and the walking motor has a first displacement in a low rotating speed mode and a second displacement in a high rotating speed mode; the method comprises the steps that the deicing vehicle obtains a current rotating speed mode and a current input flow value of a walking motor; and based on the comparison result of the current input flow value and the set flow threshold value corresponding to the current rotating speed mode, the rotating speed of the walking motor is controlled. Thus, the traveling motor can be automatically switched between the high-rotating-speed mode and the low-rotating-speed mode, so that the deicing vehicle has a wider traveling speed interval, accurate control over the traveling speed can be achieved based on the traveling speed intervals corresponding to the low-rotating-speed mode and the high-rotating-speed mode respectively, and the traveling speed of the deicing vehicle is improved. And therefore, the control requirement of the running smoothness of the deicing vehicle is effectively met.
