The middle section is in a wave shape, the upper side of the middle section is connected with the upper side wall plate, the lower side of the middle section is connected with the lower side wall plate, the upper side of the edge section is connected with the upper side wall plate, and the lower side of the edge section is connected with the lower side wall plate. The manufacturing method of the light-weight axle with the connecting wallboards provided with the wave sections comprises the steps of sand mold manufacturing, casting, cooling and demolding. The light-weight axle has the advantage of being capable of achieving the light weight of the axle and is used for reducing the weight of an existing axle under the condition that the materials of the axle are kept unchanged.
