The lifting structure of the elevator relates to the field of elevators and comprises a steel wire rope clamping piece, a rotating shaft and two linkage rod assemblies, the rotating shaft is used for being rotationally installed at the top of an elevator car frame in the horizontal direction, and the two linkage rod assemblies correspond to the two ends of the rotating shaft correspondingly; the two ends of the rotating shaft are connected with the safety tongs through corresponding linkage rod assemblies respectively, each linkage rod assembly comprises a swing part, the swing parts are fixed to the ends of the rotating shaft, lifting cranks are hinged to the swing parts, and the ends, away from the swing parts, of the lifting cranks are used for being hinged to the upper portions of control components of the safety tongs. The steel wire rope clamping piece is used for being connected with one lifting crank. The safety tongs are connected to the rotating shaft located at the top of the elevator car frame through the linkage rod assembly, so that the safety tongs can be installed on the upper portion or the middle portion of the elevator car frame, the installation structure of the safety tongs does not need to occupy the space of the bottom of the elevator car frame, and more space can be vacated at the bottom of the elevator car frame to install structures such as a buffer.
