The invention relates to an automobile transmission shaft arrangement method which comprises the steps that according to the position of an automobile power takeoff and the matching relation between the power takeoff and a transmission shaft, the center point of a first universal joint of the transmission shaft is set; setting the central point of a fourth universal joint of the transmission shaft according to the position of the automobile main reducer and the matching relation between the main reducer and the transmission shaft; and determining the central points of the second and third universal joints according to the central points of the first and fourth universal joints. Compared with the prior art, the automobile transmission shaft arrangement method provided by the invention not only meets the structure but also meets the performance requirements, and is high in logicality, high in practicability and wide in engineering application.
