The invention discloses a hub motor driving device and an automobile, the hub motor driving device comprises a rim, a motor and a multi-stage speed reducing mechanism, the rim is rotatably connected to a support component of the hub motor driving device, and the support component divides an accommodating space of the rim into a driving cavity and a speed reducing cavity; the motor is located in the driving cavity and provided with a first output shaft. The multi-stage speed reduction mechanism is located in the speed reduction cavity, is in transmission connection with a first output shaft of the motor and comprises a switching speed reduction unit and at least two stages of speed reduction units, the switching speed reduction unit is in transmission connection with the at least two stages of speed reduction units, and the at least two stages of speed reduction units can be in driving connection with a rim; the switching speed reduction unit can be connected with or separated from the at least two stages of speed reduction units under the action of the switching mechanism clutch mechanism. The problem that a single-stage speed reducing mechanism adopted by an existing hub motor cannot meet some high-power-density heavy loads and has the high rotating speed and torque increasing requirements is solved, the power density of an electric wheel is improved, and meanwhile the braking efficiency is improved.

    本发明公开了一种轮毂电机驱动装置及汽车,包括轮辋、电机、以及多级减速机构,其中,轮辋可转动地连接在轮毂电机驱动装置的支架构件上,支架构件将轮辋的容纳空间分隔为驱动腔和减速腔;电机位于驱动腔中,具有第一输出轴;多级减速机构位于减速腔中,且与电机的第一输出轴传动连接,其包括切换减速单元和至少两级减速单元,切换减速单元与至少两级减速单元传动连接,至少两级减速单元能与轮辋驱动相连;其中,切换减速单元能在切换机构离合机构的作用下与至少两级减速单元二级减速单元接合或分离。解决目对现有轮毂电机采用的单级减速机构无法满足一些高功率密度重载且有较高转速和增扭需求的问题,提升电动轮的功率密度,同时提高制动效率。
