A hydraulic oil cylinder is arranged at one end, far away from the second tension detection head, of the first tension detection head, the hydraulic oil cylinder is used for driving the first tension detection head to move, and the second tension detection head is fixedly connected with the detection platform. The method has the effect of reducing the possibility that the quality of the escalator step chain finished product is low due to flaws between the chains.
