The shell of the autonomous underwater vehicle is divided into the fixed part and the deformation part, and when the autonomous underwater vehicle needs to sail at a high speed, the deformation part is in the first state to ensure that the vehicle has a good fluid appearance so as to reduce fluid resistance; when the autonomous underwater vehicle needs to work and sail at a low speed, the deformation part is in the second state, so that the vehicle has excellent stability. The autonomous underwater vehicle is ensured to have both the navigation rapidity and the operation stability, the navigation performance is optimized, and the endurance of the autonomous underwater vehicle is also improved. The method can be applied to the field of underwater unmanned vehicles.
