The embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for predicting remaining charging time and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that network state information of a vehicle is acquired on a vehicle machine side; and according to the network state of the vehicle and the cloud device, determining that the device for predicting the charging remaining time is the vehicle or the cloud device, so that at least one of the vehicle or the motion device completes the prediction of the charging remaining time. According to the scheme, the charging remaining time can be estimated in combination with multiple modes, the method does not completely depend on a charging remaining time prediction model deployed in a local vehicle machine, the calculation result obtaining efficiency is improved, and the calculation result precision is improved.
