The using method comprises the following steps: at least two clamping arms are connected with a counterweight base to form a clamp; the lifting rod is in sliding connection with the counterweight base, and a sliding shaft of the lifting rod and the counterweight base is a shaft B; the counterweight base, the clamping arm, the transmission device and the lifting rod form a deformable structure, if the clamp is an expanding clamp, the included angle between the lower end of the clamping arm and the inner side of the counterweight base is an obtuse angle, and if the clamp is a clamping clamp, the included angle between the lower end of the clamping arm and the inner side of the counterweight base is an acute angle; and the enabled clamping arm resetting device is used for resetting the included angle between the clamping arm and the counterweight base in an enabled control mode and enabling the included angle between the clamping arm and the counterweight base to be in an adjustable state in a disabled control mode. The crane comprises a lifting rope and the lifting appliance, and the lifting rope is fixedly connected with the lifting rod in the B-axis direction. The clamping force amplification effect on an object can be conveniently achieved through small starting force.
