The method comprises the steps that after a first stimulation measure is taken for a driver, the variable quantity of fatigue monitoring data output by a fatigue monitoring system is acquired; and under the condition that the variable quantity meets a first specified condition, determining that the driver is in a fatigue state. Through the implementation mode in the specification, it is determined that the driver is in the fatigue state according to the response of the driver to the stimulation measures, the misjudgment and false alarm probability is reduced, and the accuracy of the fatigue detection method is improved.
