The invention relates to a gas-liquid separator with an energy recovery function and an air conditioning system, and belongs to the technical field of air conditioners. The gas-liquid separator comprises an outer cylinder, an outer pipe and an inner pipe which are sequentially arranged from outside to inside; a first inlet, a first outlet, a second inlet and a second outlet are formed in the outer cylinder; a liquid settling channel is formed between the outer pipe and the outer cylinder, and the liquid settling channel is communicated with the first inlet; the inner pipe is communicated with the first outlet, and a gas return channel is formed between the inner pipe and the outer pipe; and the heat exchange pipe is arranged in the gas return channel and communicates with the second inlet and the second outlet, and the heat exchange pipe is used for conducting heat exchange with the gas return channel. Therefore, the heat of the air conditioning system is fully utilized, the heat efficiency of the heat pump air conditioner can be effectively improved, and the heat pump air conditioner can exert better heat efficiency at the temperature of-10 DEG C or below, so that the purposes of saving electric energy and prolonging the endurance mileage of the electric vehicle in winter are achieved.
