The invention discloses a honeycomb structure with a complete unfolded plane. The honeycomb structure is formed by expanding basic units. Each unit comprises a regular hexagon plate, six rectangular plates and twelve right triangle plates; each basic unit is mainly formed by hinging plates, the short sides of rectangular plates are hinged to the sides of regular hexagonal plates, the long right-angle sides of right-angled triangular plates are hinged to the long sides of the rectangular plates, and the long sides of every two right-angled triangular plates are hinged to each other. During expansion, the basic units are hinged into a closed loop through the short edges of the rectangular plates. The mechanism is large in folding and unfolding rate, the basic unit and the expansion unit only have one degree of freedom, movement can be achieved through single drive, expansion is convenient, and repeated folding and unfolding can be achieved.
