The present disclosure provides "synchronized vehicle operation". When a host vehicle is located within an area, a target vehicle is identified based on detecting the target vehicle within the area. Upon determining a component output, a first instruction specifying the component output and a target vehicle component is provided to the target vehicle. A master clock of the host vehicle is synchronized with a clock maintained by a remote server computer. A second instruction is then provided to the target vehicle specifying that actuation of a component of the target vehicle is initiated at a target time to provide the component output. A primary vehicle component is then actuated at a primary time to provide the component output.
