The invention discloses an autonomous search and rescue unmanned ship and an autonomous search and rescue method, and the autonomous search and rescue unmanned ship comprises an unmanned ship body and an information sensing module which is used for obtaining the real-time position information and the real-time image information of a person falling into water; the intelligent decision-making module is used for obtaining a control instruction for the autonomous navigation module according to the real-time position information of the drowning personnel; the life jacket ejection angle of the lifesaving equipment ejection module is obtained through calculation; according to the real-time image information of the drowning person, a rescue air cushion ejection command and a traction command are sent to a rescue equipment ejection module; the autonomous sailing module is used for driving the unmanned ship body to sail to a rescue mooring point; the lifesaving equipment ejection module is used for ejecting a life jacket to the drowning person according to the life jacket ejection angle of the lifesaving equipment ejection module; and the control module is used for ejecting the lifesaving air cushion according to the command for ejecting the lifesaving air cushion and pulling the drowning person to the lifesaving air cushion according to the traction command.
