The invention provides a track tensioning device which comprises a crank arm, a balance elbow and a track adjusting mechanism. The track adjusting mechanism comprises a rotating ring, a connecting ring, a first fixing block, a first rotating joint, a second rotating joint, a balance elbow connecting block, a second fixing block, a lead screw and a fixing bolt. According to the device, the crawler adjusting mechanism works, the crank arm rotates, the inducer is driven to move along the arc, and therefore the purpose of adjusting the tightness degree of the crawler is achieved. The device has the characteristics of tail adjustment outside the vehicle, simple structure, large adjustment range, automatic compensation of error/swing angle and self-adaption of adjustment position, and can simply, quickly and reliably adjust the tightness degree of the crawler belt outside the vehicle under the restrictions of space, structure and the like.
