An efficient elevator emergency escape device comprises a safety window which comprises a window frame and a window plate, and is characterized in that the window plate comprises a plurality of window plate bodies, the two sides of each window plate body are connected with hanging chains upwards penetrating through the window frame, a plurality of chain penetrating holes are correspondingly formed in the window frame, and the hanging chains penetrate through the chain penetrating holes. Each chain penetrating hole is provided with a chain hanging device installed on the upper surface of the window frame, and each chain hanging device can be connected with different portions of the corresponding hanging chain, so that the multiple window plate bodies are arranged at different heights and form steps. According to the elevator car, rapid escape can be achieved by forming the steps, and meanwhile the elevator car is very suitable for the elevator car with the insufficient car roof standing area.
