The invention relates to a system (1) for setting an anti-glare angle of a headlight (3) of a vehicle (5), having an inertial measurement unit (7) for directly or indirectly detecting a change in the pitch angle of the vehicle (5) relative to a gravity vector, and having a distinguishing unit (9) for determining a cause of the change in the pitch angle of the vehicle (5), the cause is selected from at least one of possible causes: a load change, a chassis tension, an unknown cause, and wherein the distinguishing unit (9) is designed to determine a cause of a change in the pitch angle of the vehicle (5) on the basis of the detected state of the vehicle component, the headlight control unit (11) is designed to set the anti-glare angle of the headlight (3) in dependence on the detected pitch angle change of the vehicle (5) and the determined cause thereof.
