The present invention provides a bearing support plate having a substantially annular structure with a central through-hole wherein the bearing support plate has an avoidance notch extending a portion of the bearing support plate in an axial direction, the avoidance notch connecting an outer circumference of the annular structure and the central through-hole, the receding notch is defined by the first wall and the second wall in the circumferential direction, and the bearing supporting plate is provided with a guiding part which is continuous with the first wall and protrudes towards the central through hole. The invention also relates to a speed reduction mechanism comprising the bearing support plate and to an electric drive for a motor vehicle comprising the speed reduction mechanism.
