The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle, the purpose of which is to improve the installation position of a photocatalyst module so that superoxide radicals generated in the photocatalyst module can come into contact with a larger amount of air, thereby making it possible to improve the treatment efficiency of removing malodor, bacteria, and various contaminants in air blown into a cabin. In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention is a vehicle air conditioner comprising a photocatalyst module that causes photocatalysis in order to release superoxide radicals into an internal flow path of an air conditioner housing unit, thereby purifying air blown into a cabin along the internal flow path, a photocatalyst module is mounted on an outer surface portion of an air conditioner housing unit located between a blower for sucking and blowing inside air and outside air into a vehicle cabin and a heat exchanger for cooling or heating the air blown into the vehicle cabin.
