The invention relates to an escalator safety gap detection device and method. The device comprises a measurement host module, a gap measurement module connected with the measurement host module, a displacement measurement marking module connected with the measurement host module and an operation terminal module connected with the measurement host module. The measurement host module measures the size of a gap on one side of the escalator and transmits data to the operation terminal module; the gap measurement module measures the size of a gap on the other side of the escalator and transmits data to the measurement host module; the displacement measurement marking module measures the running speed and displacement of the escalator and transmits data to the measurement host module; and the operation terminal module receives and stores the data and draws a time curve of the measured gap and speed displacement. According to the invention, a non-contact gap measurement mode is adopted, high-precision and non-contact measurement is carried out on the gap between the step and the skirt guard panel while the operation of the escalator is not influenced, and a measurement result can be quickly, accurately and intuitively obtained by matching with a corresponding method.

    本发明涉及一种自动扶梯安全间隙检测装置及检测方法,该装置包括测量主机模块、与测量主机模块连接的间隙测量模块、与测量主机模块连接的位移测量标记模块和与测量主机模块连接的操作终端模块;测量主机模块测量扶梯一侧间隙大小并将数据传输至操作终端模块;间隙测量模块测量扶梯另一侧间隙大小并将数据传输至测量主机模块;位移测量标记模块测量扶梯的运行速度和位移并将数据传输至测量主机模块;操作终端模块接收和保存数据并绘制测量的间隙和速度位移的时间曲线。本发明采用无接触间隙测量的方式,在不影响自动扶梯运行的同时,针对梯级与围裙板之间的间隙进行高精度、无接触式测量,配合相应的方法能快速、准确、直观的得到测量结果。
