The system collects a plurality of samples of location data of a vehicle. The system predicts a destination of the vehicle based on the sampling. The system determines a user's habit of charging the vehicle based on the user's previous charging behavior. The system determines a confidence score for the predicted destination and the determined habit. The system determines whether to schedule pre-conditioning of the battery pack based on the confidence score reaching a threshold.
